PLA-NET – a platform on plastics in freshwater and coastal environments to boost information exchange between various global regions
The PLA-NET platform on plastics in marine and freshwater environments has been founded to share insights into the current (country-specific) situation, discuss related challenges and enhance collaboration opportunities in the future. Launching the platform was sparked by an International Summer School on plastics in aquatic environments organized by the German Federal Institute of Hydrology (BfG) and the International Centre for Water Resources and Global Change (ICWRGC) in 2017.
If you are interested in joining this network or adding information on activities, publications etc., please contact us by email (). Everybody is invited to share information about plastics.
